2 PC Ball Valve

The 2 PC Ball Valve from VTY factory is called a stainless steel ball valve. It is composed of two left and right valve bodies connected by bolts. When fixing, the two valve bodies clamp the ball valve. The maintenance is relatively difficult. The most important thing is to look at the tightness of the screws in the middle.

How, this is directly related to whether the seal is tight. In addition, it is mainly used in normal pressure and high pressure environments. Like non-standard valves with nominal diameters below DN50, they are also two-piece valves.

This valve is fixed by two pieces of valve body sandwiching the sphere, and the maintenance is more complicated. The tightness of the middle screw is very important, and the relationship is whether there is air leakage. It is a commonly used valve.

Q1: What is the difference between a 2 PC Ball Valve and one-piece and three-piece ball valves?

A:One-piece: Integrated valve body, small in size and low in cost, but cannot be maintained online.

Two-piece: Main valve body + auxiliary valve body bolted together, can be disassembled and maintained online, suitable for most industrial conditions.

Three-piece: An additional middle body in between, can be disassembled as a whole and thoroughly cleaned inside, suitable for occasions requiring high cleanliness or frequent replacement of seals.
