By compressing two tapered ferrules and a gasket, it creates a superior, leak-free hygienic union. The tool-free wing nut ensures quick assembly and easy removal for frequent line checks. To ensure optimal sealing without damaging the gasket or stripping threads, we recommend tightening the clamp by hand, followed by a maximum of two additional turns using a manual screwdriver.
