The Sanitary DS Union is used for frequently dismantled sections of pipework or hosing. The DS (DANSK) Union is designed according to the DS 722 standard. The complete DS Union is composed of DANSK-13R ROUND NUT, DANSK--14 WELD LINER, DANSK--15 WELD MALE, and SEAL. The DS Unions can be provided as a complete union or as separated parts.
This union is widely used in Denmark and many other European countries. VTY can offer a wide range of Sanitary DS Unions for for food, dairy, beverage, meat processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, and many other industries.

Resistance to Leakage: Using food-grade sealing materials such as EPDM and silicone, resistant to high temperatures and chemical corrosion, ensuring long-term sealing without leakage.
Sanitary-grade union joints must meet the inner wall polishing standard of Ra≤0.8μm. During inspection, it is necessary to check that the surface is free of scratches and pits, the welds should be smooth and treated with acid pickling and passivation, to avoid residual contaminants affecting the purity of the medium.
Before first use, it is necessary to rinse with pure water circulation for more than 30 minutes. Disinfection can be done using 121°C steam or soaking in a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. Note that the concentration of chlorine-based agents should not exceed 50 ppm to avoid intergranular corrosion.
